Dr. Kevin Ham's Reinvent Technology and the company's domain parking service provider, HitFarm.com, are planning to open a new office in Dubai. Dr. Ham and Dr. Chris Hartnett,

who serves on Reinvent's Board of Directors, just returned from Dubai this week. Dr. Hartnett dropped me a note about the trip,  saying "Yes, this is how we are dealing with the recession. Time for innovation as they say at Harvard Business School (Editor's Note: the two good doctors earned diplomas from the HBS Advanced Management Program in October). This we feel will be the best time for Domainers and for anyone serious, to make real money if you Zig when everyone else is Zagging."

Chris added, "There is always opportunity and Reinvent has “opportunity from the

ashes” in its basic corporate DNA. Kevin started his domain business and Reinvent during the DOT COM Bust of 2001 when he developed a program to buy up top premium domains on the drop faster than the average drop catchers."

"Yes PPC revenues are down but this doesn’t spell the end of the world for domain name owners. Actually, the Middle East has vast untapped potential when it comes to the internet. The Ruler of Dubai, Sheik Mohammad is probably one of the biggest thinkers I have ever seen. Dubai is really a very wonderful place with exploding growth and unlimited potential for the domain world. We stayed in a place right next to “Internet City" and “Media City.” The future is very bright and Prime Domain Name Real Estate is ready to take off. We can’t wait to get back there!," Dr. Hartnett declared.
