Domain Sales Report - Page 2   (Report Published 10-14-2020)

Country Codes

The ccTLDs had a terrific couple of weeks led by the two domains you saw on the all extension Top 20 Chart on page 1 - VanInsurance.co.uk at $106,769 via GoDaddy and Just.me at $50,000 through Sedo. There was a lot more where those came from as nine more five-figure sales were reported in this category. Sedo rounded out the first five on our latest Country Code Top 20 Sales Chart with Holland.de ($33,390), IU.de ($29,585) and TopDesk.com.au ($19,305).

Sedo, who has always dominated the ccTLZD space, went on to sweep 18 of the 20 chart entries. The only exception on the top half of the leader board was an $18,756 purchase of #6 AirCon.co.uk made by British company X6 Ltd. in a private transaction. The other one that avoided Sedo's grasp was DomainLore.uk's  $5,484 sale of #18 David.uk.

The extension race wound up in a 5-5 tie between Great Britain's .uk (four of the .co.uk variety and one .uk) and Germany's ever popular .de.  Here is how the top ccTLD sales stacked up for the two weeks ending Sunday, Oct. 11, 2020:

Non .com gTLDs (.net, .org and others, including new gTLDs)

The non .com gTLDs weren't able to claim a spot in the all extension Top 20 Chart this time out but that didn't mean they had a bad outing - just a lot of very strong competition due to GoDaddy releasing 20 major aftermarket sales from this summer. The non .com gTLDs still piled up five five-figure sales with Sedo's $27,500 sale of Brilliant.net topping our latest Non. Com gTLD Top 20 Sales Chart.

NameJet claimed the #2 spot with Kompozer.net at $12,700 and also #5 with PS.org at $10,318. Sedo stormed back to sweep 11 chart entries overall including 8 of the top 10 with a roster featuring #3 Youjuyouzhu.net ($12,400) and #4 Asahi.net ($11,900) among others. NameJet counter punched with nine chart entries of their own leaving both companies with a lot to smile about this time around the track.

Here is how the non .com gTLD sales stacked up for the two weeks ending ending Sunday, Oct. 11, 2020:
