A $950,000 Sale Booked by Larry Fischer and the Year's Biggest ccTLD Sale Highlight This Week's Chart

The latest jewel in Larry Fischer's domain sales crown came within a whisker of the million-dollar mark this week. The pioneering domain investor/broker rang the bell yet again with a $950,000 sale of Nursing.com. In addition to topping our weekly all extension Top 20 Sales Chart, that also ranks as the second biggest sale reported so far this year, trailing only the $3 million sale of California.com in January.

That was just one of three six-figure sales reported this week. #2 PFF.com easily cleared the bar after changing hands for $270,000 in a private transaction. That is by far the biggest 3-letter .com sale of the year to date, almost doubling the amount ($140,000) paid for GPA.com in February. Warren Mae Premium Domains hit a home run as well, banking $148,500 for #3 MortgageRefinancing.com.

There was also big news on the ccTLD front with that category getting a new 2019 leader with Park.io's $68,000 sale of Swipe.io. That edged out previous country code leader, Seereisen.de
("sea travel" in German), a name that sold for $66,640 last month. Swipe.io is one of six ccTLDs on the Big Board, with three of those reaching the top ten - Swipe.io at #5, Studio.io ($20,000) at #7 and Week-end.fr ($11,300) tied for #8.

The non .com gTLDs were limited to just one spot that went to a new gTLD, #14 (tie) Koeln.business at $6,780 (Koeln is the German spelling for the beautiful city we know as Cologne).

The .coms swept everything else, 14 of 21 places overall (the extra spot resulting from a four-way tie four the final position), including an impressive $79,000 sale of #4 Paga.com made by NewReach.com. Sedo piled up nine of those .com sales and 14 chart entries overall. MediaCode.com also aided the .com cause with their $7,000 sale of #12 LocationIntelligence.com.

The ccTLDs were, of course, led by that sextet of sales you saw on the all extension leader board above, with Swipe.io towering over the field with that best of the year so far $68,000 sale made through Park.io. The biggest sale in this group that you haven't seen yet is #7 on our latest Country Code Top Sales Chart. That is Sedo's $3,955 sale of RPB.fr.

Sedo swept 13 of the 17 sales reported from this group this week. Their haul included #8 ProfessionalStore.de at $2,825. The only other venue with multiple chart entries was DomainLore.co.uk with two, including #16 Venom.co.uk at $1,445.

Non .com gTLDs (.net, .org and others, including new gTLDs)

The Non .com gTLDs were led by their lone entry on the all extension leader board above - Sedo's $6,780 sale of Koeln.business. Only eight sales were reported from the entire category with Sedo booking six of those. They rounded out the first three with WeTrade.net at $4,407 and Hackr.dev at $3,980.

The two spots that did not go to Sedo were taken by premium .CLUB domains sold through their registrar partner channel. Google sold #4 Yellowstone.club for $3,784 and GoDaddy sold #8 Oxford.club for $1,500.
