A
$300,000 Sale and Another at $150,000 Lead the Hit Parade on Our
Latest Top 20 Domain Sales Chart
A nice pair of
six-figure sales led the domain sales race over the past
two weeks. Both are the kind of desirable one-word .coms you
typically see leading our bi-weekly all-extension Top 20
Sales Chart. Tony Adams at HQBrokerage.com
took over the penthouse suite with a $300,000 sale of Vegetarian.com.
Meanwhile, Braden Pollock at LegalBrandMarketing.com
rang the six-figure bell for the second report in a row with Schematic.com
at $150,000. Just two weeks ago Braden put Fiasco.com
on the Big Board at $203,500 and he posted two others
earlier this year - COA.com at $140,000 and StoneAge.com
at $120,200.
The
#3 spot went to one of the ten biggest non .com gTLD sales
of the year to
date, 1337.org at $50,000 via Sedo.
That is also the second biggest .org sale reported so
far in 2023, trailing only Anxiety.org at $100,000
(also sold by Sedo in July).
The
biggest ccTLD sale since our last report filled the #4
hole. That was a $47,350 sale of Regeneration.co
by Wolfgang Möcklin
at Buzzoo. That was one of four spots Wolfgang claimed
on the latest leader board. He also moved #7 (tie) Maxed.co
through Afternic
for $25,000 and two others via GoDaddy
Brokerage Services - #10 Dara.co at $20,000
and #18 Recombinant.org at $10,535.
As
usual, the .coms claimed the majority of chart entries
but it was close this time with 11 going to .coms and
9 to non .coms. CryptoExchange.com
helped the .com cause with a $37,328 sale of #5 LLB.com
as did Andy Bell at Andy
Mediawith his £29,950 ($36,359) sale of FootballScore.com.
We do currency conversions on the day this column is
published. When Andy closed this sale it was worth around
$37,500 but the U.S. dollar has been surging in recent days
and hit a new 2023 high today (Sept. 27).
The ccTLDs
enjoyed another strong week racking up seven charted sales
including a $15,000 deal for #14 Bourbon.vc
closed by Mark Ghoriafi at MrPremium.com.

Keep in mind that these are the highest value
cash only sales that have been reported to us in the
past two weeks. This column is meant to be an educational tool, not
a complete list documenting ALL high value domain

are kept private at the insistence of buyers, sellers or both.

A strong trio of .co
sales set the pace for the ccTLDs this time around the
track - all initiated by Buzzoo, as noted in the all
extension section above. With the seven five-figure sales in this
group all making the all extension leader board, Buzzoo also claims
the highest sale on our bi-weekly Country Code Top 20 Sales Chart
that you haven't seen yet - #8 Kitz.co at $8,250.
Sedo rounded out the
top half of the honor roll with #9 Invoice.eu at $8,177
and a pair of names that tied for #10 - Radfit.de and ZEB.fr
- at $7,950 each. Sedo went on to pile up a dozen chart
entries. A couple of exceptions wereDomainLore.uk's
$5,297 sale of Rich.co.uk and a $4,880 sale
of GiftBoxes.co.uk at BuyDomainNames.co.uk.

Non .com gTLDs
The non .com gTLDs
were led by that .org version of an 800-pound gorilla in
Sedo's $50,000 sale of 1337.org. The .orgs wound up
sweeping the first three spots on our latest Non .com
gTLD Top 20 Sales Chart and piled up eight chart entries
