Larry Fischer Reels in Another Big One: 6-Figure Sale Gives Him Two of the Year's Top 20

In October domain industry pioneer Larry Fischer (GetYourDomain.com) made a big splash with his $1.2 million sale of MyWorld.com - a transaction that currently ranks as the 6th biggest sale reported so far this year. This week, in addition to claiming the top spot on our latest weekly all extension Top 20 Sales Chart, Larry placed a second name among the year's 20 biggest sales to date by closing a $265,000 deal for EMarketing.com. Larry represented seller Anything.com in the negotiations that produced a sale that now sits at #18 on or YTD Top 100 Sales Chart.

That sale helped the .coms sweep eight of the top ten places on this week's leader board and 17 of 20 places overall. The runner-up spot went to James Booth's BQDN.com where Toll.com changed hands for $50,000. The week's biggest non .com sale followed at #3 with Sedo booking $48,000 for Ton.org

Michael Mann's DomainMarket.com filled the #4 hole with a $40,000 sale of Qalandar.com, a domain that Mann said he originally acquired for just $90 in 2011. Mann scored again with #17 JungleFish.com at $16,000, a name that set him back just $250 when he picked it up in 2012.

Rounding out the first five was the week's biggest ccTLD sale - Bega.com.au - at AUD 50,000 ($38,000). Australian firm Boyd Ryan sold the domain to a company that makes a popular line of cheeses in that country. One other country code domain crashed the Big Board - #11 Wi.fi, a name that Sedo sold for $22,420.

Everything else went to the .coms, led by another flood of always popular 3-letter .coms. There are nine of them on the elite list this week with NameJet accounting for eight of those. The biggest one in this category was also a dictionary word domain with Sedo selling #6 Oar.com for $35,000. NameJet then started their run with #7 NPB.com at $31,355.

Chart honors also went to Neoversal.com for their $15,000 sale of MassVR.com.
