Joe Uddeme at NameExperts.com Books $285,000 Sale To Top This Week's Chart

NameExperts.com Founder Joe Uddeme had one of the top ten sales on our 2018 Top 100 Sales Chart with MK.com at $700,000. This week his latest sale reached the top 15 on our 2019 Year-to-Date Top 100 Chart. That was a $285,000 deal for Fora.com (Fora is the plural version of the word "forum"). We don't yet know how the buyer will be using the domain - only that they will be using it for a new project.

Sedo reeled off the next six entries in a row on our latest weekly all extension Top 20 Sales Chart and went on to sweep 17 of 20 entries overall. Their roster was led by #2 IKG.com at $55,000 with FirstDate.com filling the next spot at $40,000. Sedo also had the week's biggest ccTLD sale, banking €30,000 ($33,600) for #4 We.de. That was one of four country code domains that earned places on the Big Board. Sedo accounted for three of those four with DropWizard.com providing the other member of the quartet - #12 BetOnline.ca at $16,000.

The .coms hauled in everything else, piling up 16 chart entries overall. Michael Mann's DomainMarket.com aided the .com cause with a $20,000 sale of #7 (tie) Commandes.com ("orders" in French). Sedo shared that #7 slot with Cashon.com.

That left no room at the end for the non .com gTLDs. Only eight sales were reported from that category with none of those going above $5,000 as Sedo's $4,999 sale of VCO.net led that category..

This column is meant to be an educational tool, not a complete list documenting ALL high value domain sales. Such a list is impossible to produce because many sales are kept private at the insistence of buyers, sellers or both. Country Codes

The ccTLDs were led that quartet of five-figure sales you saw on the all extension leader board above with Sedo's $33,600 sale of We.de leading the way. The highest sale in this group that you haven't seen yet is #5 on our latest weekly Country Code Top 20 Sales Chart. That is Sedo's $8,383 sale of Bike2Go.de

DomainLore.co.uk filled the next slot with #6 Gas.uk going for $6,516. Sedo swept the remaining spots on the honor roll with the exceptions of #11 (tie) Cello.tv, a sale that MediaBranding.com made through Afternic, and #20 (tie) Mods.us at $2,000 via Uniregistry.

Germany's .de won the extension race with five chart entries, followed by .co with four and .tv with three. No other extension had more than one. Here is how the top ccTLD sales stacked up for the week ending Sunday, July 14, 2019:

Non .com gTLDs (.net, .org and others, including new gTLDs)

It was slow going for the Non .com gTLDs this week with only eight sales reported from this category. Sedo had the four biggest ones with a quartet made up of two .nets (VCO.net at $4,999 and Backstock.net at $3,136) and two .orgs (EMF.org at $2,800 and BuildingInnovation.org at $2,788).

Even so, it was .club that had the most chart entries overall, scoring three times with a trio led by the #5 domain on our Non .Com gTLD Top Sales Chart - Wow.club at $2,270 via Ledl.net GmbH.
