Larry Fischer Bags Back to Back Chart Toppers With Another 6-Figure Domain Sale

Veteran broker Larry Fischer from GetYourDomain.com apparently liked his penthouse view from the top of last week's domain sales chart after completing a $300,000 sale of EEN.com. So much so, that he stayed over this week - again occupying the top spot on our  weekly all extension Top 20 Sales Chart with another six-figure sale -  Interspace.com at $136,410. Sales at this level are nothing new for Larry - we've reported many of them from him over the past 15 years - but this is the first time he's scored back to back #1s. I think anyone who knows Larry would agree it couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

Maxwell Cashman of NewReach.com claimed the #2 spot on the Big Board after brokering a $75,000 sale of Cense.com. After that Sedo went on a tear, sweeping the rest of the top ten and going on to pile up 16 of 20 entries overall. Their roster was led by a pair of domains that tied for #3 after changing hands for $40,000 apiece. Those were Salvage.com and the week's biggest ccTLD sale - eSports.io.

Three other ccTLDs - all sold by Sedo - also earned spots on the elite list including a pair of German .de domains that crashed the top ten. #5 Lotto-News.de delivered $34,515 and #8 DigitalMarketer.de added $16,965

The non .com gTLDs also had something to cheer about with three names on the honor roll, led by a new gTLD - #6 Go.exchange at $30,000. The others were #9 Auction.net at $15,000 and #20 Bill.info at $7,605 - with Sedo again accounting for all of the sales in that category.

The .coms stiill ended up with the most charted sales - 13 overall, including Coffee.Club owner Bill McClure's acquisition of #14 PlanetStorage.com at $9,999 via Afternic. Anna Bastian also helped the .com cause with her $8,000 sale of #18 PowerVibe.com at Uniregistry.com.

Keep in mind that these are the highest value cash only sales that have been reported to us in the past week. This column is meant to be an educational tool, not a complete list documenting ALL high value domain sales. Such a list is impossible to produce because many sales are kept private at the insistence of buyers, sellers or both. Country Codes

It was a very good week for the ccTLDs as two of the year's 10 biggest sales to date were posted in that category. The leader on our latest weekly Country Code Top 20 Sales Chart, Sedo's $40,000 sale of eSports.io is the 4th biggest ccTLD sale of the year to date and their $34,515 sale is the 8th biggest.

As you saw earlier, both of those also made this week's all extension Top 20, as did DigitalMarketer.de ($16,965). The biggest sales in this group that you haven't seen yet are #4 Omio.co.uk ($9,500 at Sedo) and #5 Day.ca, sold by UnicDomains through Afternic for $7,400

Sedo swept 17 of the 20 chart entries. The only other ones sold elsewhere were #7 SCW.io at $5,000 via DNAND.com and #8 Thermal.co, sold by Anna Bastian at Uniregistry. Here is how the top ccTLD sales stacked up for the week ending Sunday, May 20, 2018:

Non .com gTLDs (.net, .org and others, including new gTLDs)

Only five non .com gTLD sales were reported this week, all through Sedo. That would normally constitute a very disappointing outing for that category but the lack of quantity was offset by some quality sales. #1 Go.exchange at $30,000 and #2 Auction.net at $15,000 both rank among the year's 25 biggest sales to date in this group. As you saw earlier, #3 Bill.info also ranked among the week's top 20 sales regardless of extension.
