This Week's Top Domain Sales Included One of the Year's 10 Biggest Non .Com gTLD Transactions

A trio of .coms and a non .com gTLD sale fill the first four slots on our latest weekly all extension Top 20 Sales Chart. Sedo claimed the top two positions with WBM.com at $35,877 and Forks.com at $32,500. MostWantedDomains.com rounded out the .com threesome at the top with Wepop.com at $25,000 before Flippa interrupted the .com party with #4 Games.info at $20,300

This is the second time that Games.info has been sold this month. The domain had been picked up on NameJet.com two weeks earlier for $11,500, giving the seller a nice return on their investment when they quickly flipped it to the Dutch owners of RoundGames.com for an $8,800 profit. At $20,300 the second Games.info sale ranks among the 10 biggest non .com gTLD sales reported so far this year.

A second .info domain also earned a spot on the Big Board with Afternic selling #14 (tie) Knowledge.info for $12,000 to give the non .com gTLDs two places on the elite list. The ccTLDs did even better by ringing up four charted sales, led by #9 Uni.at (Austrian domain) at $17,024 via Sedo.

Sedo handled three of the four ccTLD chart entries, including #13 Hotels.me at $13,034. NetFleet.com.au posted the one charted sale from this category that Sedo didn't get - #16 Used.com.au (Australian domain) at $10,942

By Ron Jackson

Sedo still had a field day, rolling up 11 chart entries including #5 (tie) DreamCard.com at $20,000. They shared that spot with Afternic's $20,000 sale of Quif.com - one of six charted sales for Afternic who rang up more than $1.2 million in total sales over the 7-day period (with NDA sales and sales under $1,000 figured in).

Here is how all of the sales leaders stacked up for the week ending Sunday, June 16:

Country Codes

The four five-figure ccTLD sales you saw in the all extension section above fill the top slots on our new Country Code Top 20 Sales Chart. The highest sale in this category that you haven't seen yet fell just $1 short of the five-figure mark. That was #5 Yes.us at $9,999 via Sedo.

Sedo went on to sweep 14 of the 20 chart entries including four of the top five. Herbs.ca filled the #6 position after an $8,730 sale made by Emall.ca. MostWantedDomains.com scored with #8 Femme.tv in a $7,000 sale they brokered for Legacy Fund LLC and Afternic hit the top half of the leader board with one of their two charted sales - #9 QE.pw at $6,500. NetFleet.com.au rounded out the top ten with #10 Decks.com.au at $5,672 - one of three charted sales for them.

There was again a lot of diversity on this week's chart with a 14 different countries represented on the leader board. Only five TLDs had more than one entry, led by Great Britain's .co.uk with three. Australia's .com.au, Tuvalu's .tv, Italy's .it and Germany's .de took two places each.

Here is how the country code leaders stacked up for the week ending Sunday, June 16:
