.Coms Account for 11 of the Week's 13 Biggest Sales With Priority.com Setting the Pace

It was a good week for the .coms as they posted the top six sales on this week's all extension Top 20 Sales Chart, as well as 11 of the first 13 and 13 of 20 overall. The top dog was Vinexa.com's $85,000 sale of Priority.com to a Minnesota shipping company - Priority Courier Experts. They are upgrading their current address- ShipWithPriority.com.

Sedo took the next five spots on the Big Board, filling the runner up slot with YouCoin.com at $79,100. Two $30,000 sales - EqualityHealth.com and Tekpoint.com - tied for the #3 slot with a pair of 3-letter .coms - VRK.com an ZUJ.com - tying for #5 at $29,820 each.

We also belatedly learned this week that Flippa.com closed a six-figure sale of Tasks.com in 2015 that totaled $130,000. That domain was paid for over time with the final installment made last year. As a result we have added that sale to our 2015 Top 100 Chart where its is tied for #59.

Returning to current sales - the non .com gTLDs put four names on the elite list this week with a pair of .club domains leading the way in that category. In direct sales made by the registry #7 Lending.club went for $25,000 and #8 Startup.club sold for $22,500. You may recall that the registry has been using the latter domains themselves to promote the use of premium .club domains by new businesses. They will continue doing that but the startup initiative will be run from the registry's main website going forward.

The ccTLDs earned three spots on the leader board with Flippa's $15,105 sale of #15 Tech.io leading the country code charge. Sedo posted the other two ccTLD sales giving them 10 of 20 chart entries overall. Flippa and AlanAdlari.com were the only other venues with multiple entries. Flippa scored twice and AlanAdlari hit the trifecta with a trio led by #9 Canakkale.com at $21,890.

Chart honors also went to Grit Brokerage for their $20,500 sale of Ezee.com and Michael Cyger who sold #12 (tie) SEONinja.com for $18,000 in a private transaction.
