Pair of Numeric Domains Top This Week's Sales Chart - One Rakes in Six Figures to Rank Among the Year's Top 10

OK, we've got some catching up to do today! I was away on an annual beach vacation last week so we have a double dose of data for you this time out. As a result we are expanding our all extension Top Sales Chart from its usual 20 positions to 40 (next week everything will return to normal including our usual Wednesday evening release time).

We have a nice six-figure sale to kick things off with. NameJet closed a $201,100 sale of 281.com that, in addition to topping this week's chart, ranks among the ten biggest sales reported so far this year. The runner-up spot went to another numeric domain - 6464.com - that changed hands for $65,358 via SnapNames

NameJet then took back the spotlight with #3 PUG.com at $61,000. That was one of eight 3-letter .coms NameJet put on the Big Board after releasing all of their May sales at once. Their next highest ones were #6 NFT.com at $50,500 and #7 WJB.com at $48,200.

By Ron Jackson

Sedo rounded out the first five with a roster than included the week's biggest ccTLD sale, #4 90Min.de at $60,512. They also scored with #5 Kredit.com at $51,980. Sedo wound up posting four of the week's five charted country code sales. The exception was #18 (tie) Sto.re, sold for $30,000 in a team effort from Flippa.com and Claim.club.

The non .com gTLDs were limited to two chart entries - both .nets. Those were #23 (tie) NG.net, sold for $25,000 at NameJet, and #31 SkinCancer.net, sold for $23,000 at Sedo.

The .coms took everything else, piling up 33 of the 40 chart entries overall. James Booth's BQDN.com booked six of those, including five 3-letter .coms led by #8 VRF.com at $45,000 and #9 JQC.com at $41,000. DomainsNext.com also had a good outing with a trio of four-digit numeric domains that included #23 (tie) 4233.com at $25,000 plus 0205.com and 0206.com at $24,000 each
