Latest news of the domain name industry

Cover Story Template (late Oct 2009)

By Ron Jackson

The pioneers in this industry have typically been serial entrepreneurs who followed long and winding roads before finding the greatest financial success of their lives in this business. In domains, they saw something that just about everyone else in the world overlooked - unique assets that would one day become the foundation for the greatest communications platform in human history.

Those visionary people were lucky enough to arrive in just the right place at the right time in history. Some believe that opportunity has now passed - that younger people coming into the business today have no chance of enjoying the same kind of success with domains. However, a new generation of young guns, personified by people like 29-year-old Aron Meystedt of XF Investments (XF.com) are already well on their way to proving those "the party is over" pundits wrong.
